painful bumps? please help!

someone help!
i have super painful bumps on the lips of my vagina and even in/near the vulva. it causes EXTREME discomfort to pee and to the touch. 
i have a boyfriend who im sexually active with, but we've been dating for over half a year and this hasnt been a problem until last week. i originally thought it was a uti (feeling like i had to pee all the time) but now i dont feel like that, its just these bumps that are killing me.
the only thing i can think of is that i stayed in a pretty low end hotel last weekend and maybe the soap/other irritated the skin there...? i have no idea, but i'm freaking out!
also i cant really go to a gynecologist as im only seventeen with no license. pls no hate, just a super worried friend here !!!

Unfortunately STI's can go undetected until your first breakout and can lay dormant for years . If he isn't your first sexual partner or if you aren't his , there is still a chance that its something sexually transmitted. I would go to the doctors and get a swab done . The same thing happened to my cousin, she slept around a bit before her current relationship and then a year and a half later she had her first breakout of herpes and it sounds similar . Painful bumps and burning when peeing . STI's do mimick an UTI at the begging , but then escalate . I would see a doctor and get some swabs done just o be on the safe side .

It could be a cyst....take a hot bath (like as hot as you can stand) and poor a lil apple cider vinger in the water and let it soak for a bit and thought the day but a wet rag in the micorwave for 10 sec. and put it on the area...it will het more and more uncomfortable until it pops if it doesnt pop see a doctor
