sunscreen or. no sunscreen?

I mean really, am I really supposed to not use sunscreen on my baby?!

Their skin is much thinner and therefore absorbs chemicals and substances much easier so until their skin thickens up it's dangerous to use sunscreen as they will absorb so many of the chemicals. The thickening of the skin typically happens by/around 6 month.

You can get all natural sunscreens. It sounds odd, but the pollen from aspen trees is a natural sunscreen. Test it on a small area of skin, as long as baby isn't allergic, use that. Otherwise, cover baby up!

Rash guards have UV protection in them, but I'm having a May baby and will definitely be using baby sunblock on him like I did my son (he was born in June). Long sleeve swimshirts, hats, shaded areas, will also help!

My OB told me no sunscreen until 6 months! I'm having a July baby and am like... so what do I do?

I've never heard of that!  I use sunscreen on my 5 year old and have since he was 5 months old! (Winter baby) Why are you not supposed to use it?

I've heard about that too! Maybe it's too much for their skin? Idk but my baby is born in May and I will be going out in the summer so he'll definitely be wearing sunblock
