Has anyone ever actually successfully induced labor naturally on your own??

The thing is, usually with inducement, your body is so close to labor that it basically goes "eh, sure I guess" and joins in lol.

That being said, I do think some things helped! I ate a loooooot of pineapple (apparently this can induce, I was just hungry 😂), and walked a lot - my fiancè and I made constant mall and park trips after work. We also performed the 'towel trick': you and someone else hold each end of a towel, facing each other. Each of you pull (imagine a mild tug of war), and you hold the towel in between your stomach and bosom. Slowly, both of you squat, while also lightly pushing down on baby (HAVE SOMEONE BEHIND YOU AT ALL TIMES), and hold the squat for as long as possible. Do it as many times as you'd like. This exercise combines many types of activities known to help with the progression of labour  (squatting, light abdominal workout, exercise), and after doing the towel trick, I was in early labor for two days before finally progressing enough upon my hospital visit.

My only other word of advice is to make plans. Baby will sense you have things to do and want to ruin it 😂 my son crashed my new years eve plans. Also please do not do castor oil, there are many risks with consequences I don't want any mom to suffer

I don't know if this was the actual cause but, I went out to eat the night before I started having contractions, and I had some wings that were kinda spicy. I wasn't showing any signs of going into labor, but I was already 3 cm dilated the night before. So I like to blame the wings, lol.
