transverse position

Today at my 36 week appointment the doctor was measuring my belly three times!!! At the last appointment I was measuring good for 34 weeks!

Doctor sent her assistant in to tell us that our baby is not "head down" and that he is transverse. They scheduled another appointment for an ultrasound to check the baby's growth as the nurse said they don't know if baby is bigger than he's suppose to be of small( I know doesn't make any sense). This has scared me and got me all worried as I heard others who had a transverse baby through c secstion. I thought baby would be head down ready about to come out!!

Has anyone else had their baby be in the transverse position (how many weeks)

Did baby turn ? (How many weeks)
