Is dance a sport?

In your mind do you consider dance a sport? I may be biased because I'm a dancer but I believe dance is a sport. I'm not talking just competive dance, just dance in general.

Yes. Dance is a sport, ballet, hip-hop, jazz, Latin ballroom, contemporary, disco, and tap are all sports too me.

Ya know, horseback riding is considered a sport so I'm betting dance is too.

Not saying as a horseback rider you aren't engaging your muscles, I am one so you definitely are, but dance is DEFINITELY a sport with the amount of control over the body and muscles for precise movement.

Lord yes. In the family I've been adopted into, my sister dances professionally, specializing in traditional African dance. I don't know how she does it, I tried and long story short, no.

Woman is so tiny but eats like an ox though, so it obviously shows she burns a looooooot of calories doing it

Hell yea. Dance is so physically demanding, it's great exercise and it's a good way to get in shape and stay in shape.

Yes of course it is, it's a sport that takes everything out of you and makes you fit, the fact that it's also art doesn't mean it isn't a sport.
