Should I call my midwife?

I am a FTM, 38 weeks along and I just lost my mucus plug, or part of it, and it was clear and thick but not a lot. Should I call my midwife and let her know or just go on with my day and wait to go into labor? Lol

She should know if it is blood tinged or bloody. Losing some of your plug is normal at the end of pregnancy and isn't a sign of labor until it is bloody. I would just tell her you lost some mucus plug at your next visit. The plug regenerates until it's labor time.

I started to lose pieces from 22 weeks , I had my baby at 40 w 4 days like everyone said you should wait for contractions

Don't call her until you feel contractions or you leak fluid.

Go on with your day. Don't worry about it until you have contractions that a regular. I lost mine at 31 weeks and I'm going on 33 weeks. Not saying you won't go into labor sooner because every person is different as every pregnancy.
