boyfriend not understanding me while pregnant

Okay so I just wanna rant about this but... I feel like ever since I got pregnant my boyfriend wants to go out and drink a lot and doesn't understand why I don't wanna sit in the bar and watch him drink. I don't want to get knocked over or hurt the baby in any way being in that environment, even though I'm not the one drinking. I'm only about 8 weeks pregnant but how can I make him understand we're having a huge life change and even though my emotions are going crazy there needs to be less time for drinking and more time for me and other dates?
