toxic friendship? HELP

She's been my bestfriend for about a year, this year I moved two hours away from her and she gets so jealous! She hates all of my friends for no apparent reason, then verbally abused my boyfriend over text! I don't see her that often and I try to avoid talking to her. I ask her why she does this and she says "they're stealing you away from me" Grade A crazy am i right? But then I feel bad for her because she's being homeschooled because surprise surprise, she got kicked out for having the lowest grades ever. She sends me gifts every month and I just don't know how to get out of this. HeLP
