Bleeding..

My period is due in 2 days but I've been bleeding for the last 3 days, It's so light and it stops for hours then comes back, bright red and earlier today I had blood mixed with discharge brown almost black.. I don't have any symptoms just maybe slight cramps.... Is this my period? I'm so confused. please help!! (My periods always come in really heavy)
