birth control after last baby

I am not having anymore children after this one. However I do not want to take the pill because I want to breastfeed as long as possible and I'm 33 with intention on anymore babies. Hate condoms and had issues with mirena. I want opinions on what I should do and your experience. I'd like to get fixed but my husband is afraid if that will affect my hormones or make my periods rough on me. I'm clueless...
