Hospital Stay (Toddler staying in the hospital with us)
So I am stressing over the fact that I am not sure if my 3 and a half year old daughter will be able to stay with us in the hospital after I deliver. I'm 36 weeks pregnant. I am going on the hospital tour in two days so we will find out if it's allowed at our hospital. I know some hospitals and birth centers do allow it.
Anyways, I just wanted to know if anyone else has had their toddler or older sibling of new baby stay in the hospital with them or if anyone else has felt like I am feeling.
You can call me crazy but I just don't like the idea of my daughter feeling left out.
She is smart and will know that mommy, daddy and my baby sister are sleeping there and I have to go home with another family member?
If it's not allowed then my husband will sleep at home with her, but I would much rather us all be together. It's such a vital time because everything is new to all of us, especially my daughter.
