Who Did You Tell??

I'm 10 weeks right now and my current plan is to tell my family on Easter and announce right at 12 weeks. A lot of my close friends and some of my family members know now, but my mom is making a huge deal about me telling certain people so they "don't get offended" when I put an announcement on social media. Who did y'all tell and when did you tell them? Was it really that important to tell certain people (outside of close family and friends) before you announced?

I told close family, other than that no one knows I haven't announced on social media and I'm 31+4 already. I just plan on posting like his feet or something once he's born lol I'm not really big on having too many people in my business.

I told family and work at 12 weeks I didn't announce on social media till I was 20 weeks but it's really up to you and who you want to tell

I only told my best friends for a long time. My fiancé told most of his family after the first trimester. I never announced on social media. Too many people just use social media for a gossip machine
