Pain and cramping

So I'm 35+2 and last night, and some into this morning I've had pretty bad cramps above my pelvis, but going down into my vagina. I haven't lost my mucus plug or anything yet. The cramps were probably about 30-45 seconds long and varied on time between cramps. I doubt it's labor related. But I'm a FTM and don't know what I'm really doing.. but I haven't had many cramps at all today. It's usually more at night and baby likes to move alot after the cramps.
