Does age really matter?

Okay so I've been speaking to this guy on and off for about 5 years now and but we have only met a few times. He's 6 years older than me (I'm 19 btw) but I just wanted to know if that is weird or will hold us back in the future.

Yes. Depending on your age. But this age difference is fine because you're a consenting adult. So go for it :)

You shouldn't be seeking approval from people on here. If you're happy then so be it. Nobody can tell you what the future is gonna be like. Age has nothing to do with anything, it's just a number.

To me, age matters. Im in a relationship  (im 20 he's 23) and i think that age difference is just about right. Personally i wouldnt go for anyone more than 7 years older than me... idk why but its just me. But i have a friend who's 19 dating at guy in his early 30s... i wouldn't do it but hey, whatever works for you 😊

Age shouldn't matter.  You're both consenting adults so I see no problem with the age gap.  My and my bf have a 9 year age gap (:
