When can I change after c-section?

Question

Will they let me wear pj pants after hours or maybe the day after the c-section? I did with my first but can't remember when I actually put them on.

Also when can you usually change and shower after?

I'm sure once your catheter is out you could put pants on, I tried to put pants on 24 hours after my c-section and it wasn't happening!!! It did NOT feel good! But I did get to shower 24 hours after surgery 😊 that felt amazing!

I showered the day after my csection and put on pj pants afterwards. I felt like a whole new person. Enjoy the shower and take your time. The warm water will help with the achiness.

The catheter was out and I was walking 6 hours after my c section and that is when I changed into normal clothes

I had a crash C under general and was out of bed 9 hours later. The nurse took out my catheter, helped me sponge myself off a little, and put on my pajama pants before she wheeled me to the NICU to meet my little man.
