I got my BFP yesterday and today confirmed though a urine test at my clinic. I just went to the bathroom and got this... does this mean I am having a chemical?!

It could be implantation bleeding that's just now coming out. Sometimes sex or irritation can trigger it. I had that at 5 weeks and was freaking out. Now I'm 25 weeks

That's was the only time I had a clot and the spotting had improved when I just have barely any brown when I wipe. I am going to call me dr and try to do blood work.

Red blood is normally a sign of something going wrong but it could also just be an irritation. Monitor it and see if it gets worse or stops. Some women bleed through their whole pregnancy. I would go to the doctor and have your levels checked in a few days . Unfortunately going to ER wouldn't prevent anything this early . You can always take a pregnancy test like late tomorrow and see if the line is lighter but your best bet in knowing is getting your blood drawn in a few days

If it's a chemical there is nothing you can do to prevent it but if you want to know for sure you could call your doctor to have your levels checked for the next few days to make sure hcg is rising the way it's supppsed to.
