If you had a c-section, did your wound open up again?

So I guess I did a dumb thing... I shaved a bit too soon after a c-section. It was 10 weeks after, but it looks like I have a tiny little hole with a bit of fluid coming out. I talked to my doctor and she said it's probably not a big deal, but she could take a look at it. At first, I wasn't going to bother, but it doesn't seem to be healing fast enough! Has this happened to you?

Absolutely you should get it checked out! It makes me concerned that your doctor is being so laissez faire and it should concern you too. Your incision site should not open up at all. And 10 weeks is not too soon to shave down there. I shaved 2 weeks my csection with no problem.

The corner of mine did that it till the longest to heal and just had a clear fluid coming from it. Mine did it after I sat up too fast trying to catch my dig from jumping into the bassinet (he want used to it being next to the bed and went to jump down) hurt like a mother but did eventually heal. I think I tore the internal stiches as well because now that spot looks puckered if that makes sense.

I had a little opening on the corner of mine that had some fluid coming from it. My mom is a nurse so she put a sterile strip on it to help it close and now it's fine. As long as it isn't oozing or smelly it should be okay. It might just be taking that part a little longer to close. Get it checked to be safe

😳 I wasn't aware there was a shaving rule! I shaved 3.5 weeks PP. I couldn't stand the bush growing down there!

It could have been an ingrown hair also. I had a few. It sucked but it's gone now.
