🤔Pumping while 38weeks pregnant???🤔

Question

😍Currently pregnant with baby number 4~ my c-section is scheduled for April 19🤗
 My first three all had to go to the NICU for at least 4 hours because of swallowing fluid on the way out😏.
💞🌺 I was thinking this time I might pump and store up some colostrum just in case.😱😬😵
 
Thoughts? Opinions? Advice?

You're considered full term now so even if it put you into labour, baby would be okay. I've been pumping and freezing colostrum and I'm 37 weeks. I say go for it. Benefits outweigh the risks considering how far along you are.

Ive been pumping since last week 37 weeks and was told to give it a try by the midwife. I've pumped 13mls with my first go and planing to do more when i get back home.

My midwife said it's good to store some just incase something goes wrong, medical issues or somthing happends to me.

If i have any left over I'll donate it to the hospital.

I say go for it 😊

Had a friend do it for her last baby. But I would ask your OB.

I would ask your OB first. Pumping can cause you to go into labor and storing colostrum I heard can be tricky because it's so thick.
