39 weeks tomorrow. Bleeding after cervical check today😧

I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow. I had my first cervical check today, it was extremely painful and my doc could feel baby girl's head but my cervix is closed and high up. I have been in a lot of pain ever since she checked me; lots of cramping, sharp pains and am kind of limping to walk. I also had a decent amount of bright red blood in my panties when I got home, and more in the toilet after peeing and every time I wiped. I have a panty liner on and it's now also really bloody! Is this normal??? My doctors office is closed for the evening or I would call them.
