Is a 2 year age gap worth the craziness at first in the long run?

Me and my sibling are 2 years apart and we have always been best friends, so I would say definitely yes. They'll always be close enough in age to understand each other and enjoy the same activities.

My sons are 21 months apart, they're 3 and almost 5 and they're best friends, inseparable. My 3rd daughter is 2y 3m younger than my middle and yes its chaos but I manage. If you're the type that always wants your house immaculate etc then I wouldn't recommend it, sometimes those things don't get done as I'd like because they're all young so someone always needs my attention or help.

My older two boys are two years apart and they may fight but in the end they best friends my third child 4 years younger then the second child feels kinda left out becuase his younger brother is 2 years younger and not old enough yet to do much with him and I'm due with baby number 5 when the last one is 18 months old so I'm not sure which one he will latch on to and be friends with
