Beard burn?

When my boyfriend and I were making out last night I could feel his newly shaved beard hair stubble on my face and chin. When I woke up today, I had a red and raw spot on my chin. It's still there. It's kind of like a carpet burn but its from his beard. Is this a legit thing? And is this normal or unusual?

Normal especially if your skin is sentivse. Happen to me before. It goes away in maybe a week or two

That happens quite often to me with my boyfriends stubble. Especially when we get really into making out. I just clean my face and put some sort of moisturizer on. It usually goes away in a few days unless it was enough to scab over. Then its like five days to a week and it's gone
