Hemorrhoid Treatment

Hello, FTM and 24 weeks along. Not sure, but I believe I have an external hemorrhoid. I would prefer to treat it myself before rushing to the doctor for something that is considered a common pregnancy symptom. Which treatment do you prefer? Any other advice?
