highlights or all color hair, which one is safe ??

So I really wanted to get my hair done today highlighted in foils, but I was just told not to get my hair highlighted during first trimester only all color dye as it don't have the bleach. So now I dk what to do??? Ugh

***. I called my OB to check and she told me NO hair dye nor highlights at all until 15 weeks.. so anout another 4 weeks of roots for me lol ***

I'm pregnant and getting highlights next week (7-8 weeks along) plus I'm a cosmetologist and did a full head of highlights yesterday and in 30 minutes will be doing it again. I'm around the fumes constantly. There's tagging a your doctor will say is bad but the next woman's doctor will allow. Things like that you can go with what you think is best

Currently 33 weeks pregnant and dying my hair as we speak! This is the 4th time I've dyed my hair. Just do it in a well ventilated area, and sit outside while it sits. I would not recommend highlights during pregnancy at all, especially in first trimester. But I would HIGHLY recommend going the color of your roots so you dont have to keep touching up. I had my hair bleached right before becoming pregnant, and regret it because now my roots are coming in and the dye wont stick! Thats why I've had to dye it so many times! Dye your hair now while its more likely to stick.

I'm currently 11 weeks, I bleach my hair at 5 and a half weeks and dyed it 6 and 7 I had a scan at 6 and 8 weeks because I was bleeding and the nurses told me it was perfectly safe to bleach my hair but that dye won't take so well because of the hormones x
