Dilated...how long can I expect to be this way?

I've been having contractions (back labor?) every 10 minutes since last night. My NST this morning picked them up so my cervix was checked. I'm only 2 cm dilated and 60% effaced. How long can I expect to stay this way? I've heard people go for up to 4 weeks like this. I'm 37w5d today. I just want to prepare myself mentally. If it were up to me I would have him this weekend lol but don't want to get too excited over 2 cm only.

Im almost 39 weeks and have been 3cm dialated for over a week already with only cramps here and there and thats it. A nurse at my dr office said i can stay 3 cm til past my due date :( I had gotten my hopes up about having my baby early but now im thinking she wont be ready until after her due date :(

I had the back pain one night and it stopped that morning, but the next night I had it again but it turned in to contractions, it fit the 5-1-1. Went to Drs office no change. So I went home and cried and laid around in pain. Got up to go pee and I tell you what the real contraction is so much worse than the prodromal, there is no mistaking it. Felt like a train hit me. This was 6hrs after the prodromal contractions started.

I've had multiple episodes of false labour since 35/36 weeks and I'm still pregnant at 38!!! I wish I could say it's a quick process but I'm miserable 😔

I started dilating (only 1cm and 50% effaced) at 34 weeks when I went into early labor. They stopped labor and things settled down. Had my 39 week appointment today and I'm now at 3cm and 70%... but it's been like that for the past three weeks in a row 😞. I've gone through periods of having consistent cramping and mild contractions, at some points for several days at a time. They said it's just prelabor and can last for over a month ☹️.

With my first I was at two cm and had contractions every 3-5 minutes for two weeks. Doctor was surprised I didn't go on my own. They called it prodronal labor. I was induced at 40w5d. I wish you better luck than I had.
