transgender PEOPLE
Can it just be pinned by SOMEONE on glow that trans people are PEOPLE. Not just "trans" not just "the transgenders" they're people. First and foremost. They are more than the trans label.
Recent posts and past posts REPEATEDLY dehumanize trans PeOPle by just referencing them as "transgender wants to use bathroom" "trans are -Insert insulting phrase here-". Our own community members have and are still having to correct this rude behavior.
You wouldn't call black people "the blacks" or any other darker toned person "the browns". No one calls straight PEOPLE the "straights".
