do babies do okay living in a loud house?

My bro and sister just moved in to my parents house. And their kids are 7, 8, 13 and 14 ... and are always screaming and fighting and their parents just let them...

My son is due in a month ... and i dont want to have my son be woken up every 5 minutes.... i told the kids infront of my brother and sister that when the baby comes they can not be screaming like they already do... and noone said anything 😒

It's going to be hard because it's not your house so you can't really enforce rules. Some babies are fine while others wake up easily. Try playing white noise in the background while the baby sleeps

I think it's fine for the house to be loud - they should be able to sleep through it. Just please notice if the baby seems to wake up because of it because then it's def NOT okay. A baby should never be woken up from sleep.

Kids adjust. My mom had 4 of us and always said you should never be quiet around a baby and they'll learn to sleep through anything. She could run a vacuum next to them and they'd sleep through it.

I think it's fine, I made sure to talk loudly and make noise when my daughter was sleeping. Now she's 2.5 and sleeps like her father (through anything!)

Depends on the kid. I suggest a white noise machine. We use the Dohm and LOVE IT. It's around $50 but worth every penny. We take it camping, to visit family and hotels. It drowns out annoying noises.

It might be a good thing that they're noisy - that way your baby won't be used to absolute silence and will be able to sleep through anything. 
They won't be there forever and if their house burnt down, I'd cut them a little slack. They probably don't want to be there anymore than you want them there tbh...

It is good for it to not be totally quiet. My two kids were loud when my third was born, and she got used to sleep through it. Now i am having baby #4 due in 2 weeks and i have a 4, 3 and 2 year old at home making noise all day, he will get used to it too. I can not think a house of toddlers will be quiet even if i wanted them to be. And i am sure he can hear them in the womb and is used to it by now lol.. Because when one of them randomly makes a loud sound he jumps in my stomach

My son dosnt bother if u introduced them to a loud place they get ise to it i have two older children an a dog always hovering infact baby loves the hoover an the hair dryer my hubby was grinding the other week he didnt bother baby should be fine i think if u stay quiet all the time they would be scared of loud noises so best get them use to it early

Constant loud noise doesn't bother my babies, but lots jarring noises do. My house isn't normally loud either, so your LO will probably get used to it

My husband n I rent a room from his parents n my almost 4month old does excellent with loud noises. He is salvadorian so there is always loud Spanish music playing or his family n their company are being loud. I am actually happy that she got use to it early on cus now she doesn't wake up or flinch if I am blasting music as I clean up. Now if u sneeze or cough it's another story lol
