My Good Friday baby

Taylor
Well my daughter was due April 10th and along the way she had changed from breech to cephalic position a few times. I was scheduled for a c-section on April 4th but it had been cancelled by my doctor because she had gotten into position. Then because I was quickly approaching my due date with almost no progression or signs of labor soon starting my doctor booked a non-stress test, an additional ultrasound, as well as an induction. At my last prenatal appointment at 40w 2d I was not feeling so well. The next morning (4/13) my urine results showed up with protein so my previously scheduled appointments were cancelled and I was told to go to the hospital and they would perform the tests there plus some additional tests. It had turned out the ultrasound revealed she was again breech. The doctor on call went over the options and we opted for the c-section. Fast forward to 7:00-7:30 pm and I'm in the OR and the doctor decided to do another ultrasound and low and behold she is head down and I am dilated to 3cm. So I was admitted and given pitocin to progress my labor. My progress was still quite slow so I went another 26 hours before she was born Friday 4/14/2017 at 10:25pm weighing 8 lbs 10 oz and measuring 22 inches in length at 40 weeks and 4 days gestation. Here she is Jenesis Joi Stallings
