I have it, my mother has it, it's actually really common. I have some other issues also so I went IVF after trying for several years and got twins. Now they're 4.5 years old and I'm pregnant with a surprise third baby.

Crazy story I accepted the fact that I probably couldn't have children. I was alright with it. I wasn't diagnosed with PCOS but I figured I had it, my symptoms were - excessive hair growth, irregular periods etc. I was having unprotected sex with my boyfriend not checking nothing, didn't care (I only tried to see if I could get pregnant once) then I was having pains in my abdomen and turns out that I had 2 10cm cysts on my right ovary that was feeding my baby blood (needed to have surgery). So I was like wait.. I can't get pregnant. They diagnosed me then, told me I was at least 12 weeks pregnant and til this day I still am 💁🏽 24 weeks. But I was so scared I'd lose my baby during surgery and after because of Pcos. But I'm so grateful! 
I'd say just don't try as much.. it will happen

I went through more than a year of blood tests, pee tests, ultrasounds, etc before they found out I had PCOS. Only reason they found it was because I didn't drink enough water so they had the do a transvaginal ultrasound and that's when they saw my enlarged ovaries and all the cysts. I was told in July of 2016 and I got pregnant November 2016. Currently 22+3.
