Is your baby pulling themselves up?

My little girl started pulling herself up to a standing position at 5.5 months. Whatever she can teach, and if it will support her, she will pull herself up. Then she will hold on to it and walk around/along it (side stepping). I was shocked, but when I mentioned it to her pediatrician at her 6 month visit, he didn't seem surprised. So, I am assuming that most babies do this at her age? Ftm, so I have no clue lol

I wish doctors would let us be excited for our babies' milestones 😂 they treat everything like it's so normal lol.

My son wants to stand constantly. He doesn't really pull up on things, probably because we don't really have anything to do that with, but he will push to stand up while sitting on our legs, and can stand holding onto things for quite a while. He just lacks balance.

My doctor is the same way. Everything is "normal" to her. Guess cause she's seen everything by now  :\

We don't really have many things he can practice with, but he'll pull up to standing with our hands & he's been practicing it with other things when he can. He's not walking along furniture yet, but he'll take steps while holding our hands.

That honestly sounds crazy to me! I didn't know babies could do that so quickly my baby girl can kind of balance herself standing up with her arms on the side of the couch but I have to put her in position and she will take steps with me holding her hands to keep her balanced lol
