Harmony Test by Medicaid?

Has anyone gotten the Harmony test done with having Medicaid? Some people say yes, some say only be special requirements, some say no. 🤔

As far as I know that health insurance only covers it for "good " reason. Such as high risk pregnancy,  already having a child with a genetic chromosomal abnormality ect.. I'm pretty sure if you just want it the insurance won't cover it.

I live in Illinois and mine did not cover the harmony test. I didn't want it anyways. Just did a gender 3D private scan at 15 weeks and payed $59.

I had the panorama test which is basically the same thing and my Medicaid in Kentucky paid for it. I didn't even know what it was at first but my doctor requested it. And I wasn't high risk or anything.

Not the harmony test, but i got the panorama at 9 weeks with medicaid. I think it's the same thing.

If you don't have a valid reason (like a high risk pregnancy) and just want it for gender, then no, it will not cover it. You're just gonna have to wait unless you want to pay out of pocket for it, which can be really expensive.
