preeclampsia at work...

Amanda
I am 35 weeks and my feet have just started swelling at 33 weeks. At my appointment yesterday the doctor said she wants to start seeing me every week to keep an eye on the swelling to make sure I'm not developing preeclampsia. I have worked through my whole pregnancy so far and really didn't want to stop until baby alexia gets here.
I work at Walmart and I am still considered new. They have a point system now and for new people until 6 months, if you get 4 points you are automatically terminated. I have 3 1/2 points right now. Today I wasn't feeling well at all, my feet hurt, my Braxton hicks were super painful and I just felt so worn out. I asked my manager if I could go home early and she told me I would get another point and get fired.
When I went on my break I was talking to a co worker about my situation and she told me that my manager approves other people's points all the time. She got a point approved for leaving early so she could get cabinets!! I'm pregnant and I feel like they should cut me a little extra slack especially since I might be starting to develop preeclampsia. I was so mad and frustrated I cried for about 2 hours at work. A customer wanted me to write on their cake while I was bawling my eyes out.
Does anyone know if there is anything I can do about this?
