Getting turned down

Does anyone else get like super offended when their SO turns them down for sex? Lol I'm 36+3 and have had a ridiculous sex drive. I was cuddling with my boyfriend this afternoon before he had to wake up for work and as he was waking up, I was trying to come on to him, rubbing his thighs and whatnot. He just said "I'm not in the mood baby." And idk I was just apalled. Lol I respect his decision and choice to not have sex, but it just took me off guard haha. I know it's not a big deal, but my hormones took it as a shot to my pride lol.
