how to try and help start off labour??

My first baby is due on Friday the 21st of April what are everyone's ideas that actually worked to help start labour my midwife has got me booked in on the 25th for a sweep if she doesn't arrive by then which I am really hoping she makes an appearance before then fingers crossed 🤞and if the sweep doesn't work then she is going to have me induced or I can opt for c-section which I will not be opting for unless it's necessary, my baby is head down and everytime she moves I get pains down there and my bump has dropped completely I get aches like when my period is coming but still nothing yet so what have people tried and actually worked to start there labour off?? Xx
