hard lump in vagina?

so I was feeling around and felt this hard lump inside of me. alot of things I read said that it would probably be the cervix. however, it's off to the side?? like it feels how its described, kind of like the end of your nose (i don't feel a little hole or opening or something though) but it isn't straight into my vagina. could it be something else?
