cost of NIPT testing like Harmony if no insurance coverage?

I have health insurance, but it doesn't cover NIPT testing like MaterniT21 and Harmony, and I am <35 years old.

For those of you that opted to pay for this test out of pocket, what did you end up paying? I've heard they charge up to $3000 if your insurance covers it, but they charge individuals <$250.

I would love some insight because I definitely want this test done, but $3000 is out of the question for us.
Also, if the testing company lowered the cost for you, was it a pain to get them to do it, and what was the process?

Mine was £475 I believe, possibly £495

My insurance covered 100% of the harmony test. However,  my obgyn said it was 990 bucks  and that I need to confirm they cover for it. U need to ask your obgyn or call the company yourself and ask them. Price differs from state to state, office to office.

I paid 175 out of pocket. And was told if insurance pays it, it'll be a 2k+ charge.
