pregnant after c section?

Who on here has gotten pregnant pretty soon after a c section and everything was ok? I'm 4 months post partum and really wanting to start trying again. We lost our baby girl 2 months ago due to her having trisomy 13 and we are devestated. My doctor recommended (I'm using that word to make me feel better) a year. But we just don't know if we can do that. I'm going to try and hold out till atleast 8 months.
