Looking for Advice, please I am so frustrated.

I was diagnosed with PCOS last year and have been taking Clomid for a lil less than a year now. This is my first month not taking it. My last period was March 28th-April 1st. I bought ovulation test and I ovulated on the week of the 10th. Yay! Well on Sunday April 16th I had bright red bleeding, minor cramps and the bleeding is still going. This is not my normal period. It's bright red, waterish, minor cramps but everything else is normal. I spoke to my doctor and she said this is not a normal period and if my normal one doesn't show then take a pregnancy test. I am suppose to start the 28th. Can implantation bleeding last this long? Could this be a side affect from getting off Clomid? Anyone? Anything? I just wanna ball up and cry. I am so confused and beyond frustrated.
