Would anyone recommend a doppler?

I'm 15 weeks and 1 day and tempted to buy one so I can check the heartbeat myself from time to time. My partner thinks I'll become obsessed and constantly want to check and then get paranoid if I can't find it.

I recommend one! I got one from Amazon for $40 and it works amazing now. In my early weeks 15w-19 weeks I couldn't find anything and almost sent it back. Now I'm 23 w+ 5d and I LOVE finding his heartbeat. And if I can't find his heartbeat due to his position, I love hearing him move around and kick the Doppler!

My personal opinion would be not to get one. I was tempted on a few occasions to buy one, even going so far as to research online and add to my shopping basket but I knew I would end up stressing if I couldn't find the heartbeat (I have read some of them can take a long time to find it).

I got a sonoline b at around 10 weeks and let myself listen every Sun (so I don't become obsessed) and I've had no problem finding baby every week- no regrets here! I love listening to our little miracle 💕

I had one in the early days which was always a relief to hear his heart beat but once i started to feel the baby move I havent felt any need to use it anymore

Sonoline b! Got mine off groupon. Recieved it quickly, was 14w... It was a little tough to find the hb, but we found it within 20 min... Also im a fatty sooo that comes into play lol.

Considering the doctor couldn't even find my babies heartbeat at 15 weeks sending me into a caniption fit until I saw baby on an ultrasound safe and sound 3 hours later I stand behind not having one. I think it depends on your personality type. I'd obsess so my hubby said no too. Others can check once a week or for a few seconds once a day. I'd be on it every free minute. Not to ensure baby was alone but because it's the most beautiful sound in the world. I have yet to hear this babies heart beat and won't until 18 weeks. Very hard for me.

I bought one at around 16 weeks as in the UK you don't hear the heartbeat until after your Anatomy scan at 20 weeks. I found my little girls heartbeat no problem and all was perfect and healthy and Anatomy scan 💗. I use it from time to time although they are recommended to be used once per week for the shortest period possible. They can also cause major stress for mum if due to not being professional you cannot find the heartbeat.

I got one on amazon for like $40 and I was kind of worried about the same thing but we probably use it like 1-2 times per week and there has only been a couple times I wasn't able to find the heartbeat and it was okay. It's just kind of fun.
