Pregnant with Nipple Rings ?

Experiences on this ? I have my nipples pierced just wondering if there are any ladies who decided to breast feed, and took them out ? And if so when ? Also, just plain ol, experience. For example if you decided to leave them in, did you leak milk or have crusties ? I'm only 6w1d by the way, but nipples are very sensitive and sore boobs of course.

I have mine pierced! My doctor said piercings are totally fine the rings just need to be plastic. I plan on taking mine out soon enough because my boobs are growing and they're causing pain, but I've had them pierced long enough they'll stay open while I have the jewelry out during breastfeeding.

Pregnant 10 yrs ago! I kept Mine in until about a month before birth as I  planned to breastfeed. I had no issues what so ever!

I have mine pierced, I'm 35 weeks. My lactation consultant and OB both said it's perfectly fine. If I plan on breastfeeding then I'll need to take the jewelry out while he's nursing. They said it could make the flow excessive but that's not a bad thing. I'm going to keep mine in and take them out every few hours when he nurses, otherwise I don't want them to close so as long as I make sure they stay clean then it'll be fine ☺️

If you plan on breast feeding, I would take them out around 12 weeks☺️ plus they won't be so sore when you do! Good luck xx & a happy 9 months

I took mine out about three weeks before I had my c section. I didn't want to deal with taking them in and out all day. I had no problems, I had them for two years before that.

I'm currently 22weeks. & im not taken my nipples nor my belly ring out. I've already switched to plastic nip. Bars. && btw your nipples will be sore weather u have them in or out. Of course you wouldn't wanna feed with them *chockin hazard *

I had mine pierced a year and a half ago. I'm now 17 weeks pregnant. I switched to plastic because the metal ones were too short and I was able to cut these to the size I wanted.

I get little bits of white crusty stuff and been thinking weather to take them out or not
