Hair loss??

Question

Have any of you experienced hair loss?? My baby is 14 weeks tomorrow and it started about 2 weeks ago. I read online that it usually happens to moms around this time. It's driving me crazy! Are you experiencing this and if so are you using anything??? Biotin? Special shampoo? I'm afraid to take anything since I'm BF.

Hey girl! If it makes you feel better my doc said the hair you're "losing" is the hair that didn't shed during pregnancy. So technically your head will just even itself out to pre-pregnancy thickness- you don't go bald even though it feels like it sometimes lol!

I went through this with my first daughter and again right now! Its totally normal. Even more so if your BF. Normally you lose close to 100 stands of hair a day when your pregnant that cuts by about 75% so you only lose about 25 strands a day which is why our hair gets thicker. Well after we have out joys a bit of time down the road our body starts to shed all of that its a sign that your hormones are regulating. Just take good care of your hair, wash once or twice a week, condition every day, brush your hair once a day- only to help your body feel as if its gotten rid of enough hair. Try your best to keep your hands out of it. And make sure you continue taking your prenatals.

Omg i am also going through this i see i am loosing a lot of hair urrggg and i am EBF my baby and his also 14weeks my Doc said that is becuz my baby is taking all the vitamin from my body main calcium so he recommended me to continue drinking prenatal pills that can help...but its scary i dont want to end up bald lol especially becuz i have really long hair to my hip urrgg im not planning on loosing the hair 😭and its frustrating i cant wear my hair down i always have it in a bun becuz of baby his starting to suck on his lil hands and have to be carefull that he doesnt get none of my hair in his lil mouth or hands 😭

Yeah I'm losing more hair than I did before. It's started to recede on both sides at the top and just feels so thin! I dread getting out of the shower, thinking I'm going to have no hair left! Please share suggestions if u find anything that works for u.

Crazy! I just posted about this, I am totally experiencing this and to the point where I look a bit bald :( if you find out how to control it please let me know. I knew I was going to loose some but I'm loosing chunks :(
