nose piercing?

So i was thinking about getting the stud nose piercing but I remembered that when younger when I got my ears pierced my ears are sensitive to any metal jewelry, hence real and fake, so if I got the nose piercing... does that mean my nose is also sensitive to jewelry too of all kinds?

If any of you have any experience please comment all suggestions and please suggest advice on how to know/tell if a place is a good one or not, etc.

Also please answer if you can!!!! : What are the usual and good prices for a nose piercing? And how bad do they hurt??

I'm severely allergic to most jewelry as well. My ears will start burning up, bruise, and swell whenever I wear earrings. I was scared that the same thing was going to happen when I got my nose pierced too but it's fine. I've had the piercing for about 3-4 years without any problems. You should be okay but if you start to get a reaction then you should take it out immediately. Definitely ask your piercer questions like this before you get it pierced. They'll be able to advise you on which kind to wear and what to do to make it heal well.

I've had my nose pierced for almost four years I love it! And I got pierced with Tittium if I spelled that right I get infections from certain jewelry as well not fun.

I read if your body is prone to infections after piercings it could be that way with all piercings.

I've had my ears pierced since I was 3 yrs old and have no issues.

However when I got my nose pierced all was good until 3 ish months after. I started getting a bump (keloid) right next to the piercing. It didn't look infected but it was ugly to look at. At the time I was wearing full face makeup everyday so that could have been the irritant. And I had just stopped soaking it in salt water daily.

Keloids are super common and not very attractive. So just be aware that this could form.

I ended up taking mine out because the backing fell out on Christmas Eve morning and no shops were open so it closed up. ☹️ after I have my daughter, I may get another one. They're cute and I miss mine.
