Am i being too sensitive?

Im 25 weeks pregnant & this is my first . im friends w/ a women who had a miscarriage last year & she makes me feel awful when people ask me about my baby whenever she's around . she makes comments like "well, not all of us are as lucky as you" . It really hurts my feelings.. She makes me feel guilty about being pregnant..

I personally don't think you're being too sensitive. I would feel very hurt and apprehensive. I understand that there are those who have experienced loss, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, of course...  but I don't understand... why take it out on those who are pregnant? Why aren't we allowed to be happy and talk about our pregnancies?

She doesn't have any right to treat you like that. Not like you caused her miscarriage. I'm sorry for her loss but that not how you treat a person like that. Congratulations sweetie. Don't feel guilty at all. Just stay positive and I guess just stay away from the negative people

I would try and stay away from her for a while. She's obviously not over her loss and is lashing out because your little one is still here safe and sound. 
You shouldn't feel guilty for being pregnant, nor should anyone try to make you feel that way. 
A loss is hard for everyone to deal with, but that behaviour isn't going to help anyone. 
Just keep away from her until she can handle the situation in a more appropriate manner.

You should express to her that you are sorry for her loss but her putting you down and hurting your feelings is not the way to deal with that pain. Let her know that if she doesn't have consideration for you then she shouldn't be around you or you can just start to distance yourself from her and if she ask way tell her.

That's horrible. I had a miscarriage while my co worker was pregnant. I would never say stuff like that to or around her. We're really good friends at work and we'd talk about her pregnancy and my loss. She's had her baby and now I'm 27 weeks and the support is still there. Obviously she's going through something so I'm with the other ladies on here and try and distance myself from her for awhile. I'm sorry you have to deal with that.
