Literally petrified of giving birth

I know that once I see my baby everything will be okay, but I'm so scared. I'm afraid of contractions, I'm afraid of the pain of getting the epidural, bleeding after birth or hemorrhaging, getting stitches and tearing. I also feel like people don't talk enough about healing after birth and its unknown to me. Any words of encouragement or has anyone felt the same?
