Should I wait until my baby is born to celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day?

Mother's Day is coming up next month, and I'm not sure if I should wait to celebrate it until next year. I'm due in October, so both parent related holidays are going to pass before my baby is born. I feel like it would be awkward to celebrate it, but technically I am a mother kind of?

We didn't go out and do anything fancy or anything but my husband bought me a beautiful necklace with a little diamond in it for Mother's Day when I was pregnant the first time. 😊

I know of a lot of people who celebrate during their pregnancy! You're still parents to your baby, even if they're not born yet! So it's really if you want to or not, it's no ones place to judge you!

I meant yes celebrate! I've been celebrating mothers day for the past two years and my baby never made it to breathe on earth (mc February 2015). I'm pregnant again due in November 2017 and I'll be celebrating again this year too. The moment you conceive you are a mother. Go ahead girl!

I got my hubby baby outfits. A onesie that says I ❤️ my firefighter daddy and a sleeper with fire trucks on it. I thought I'd make a card "from baby" saying can't wait to meet you! Father's Day is a little bit away but they were too cute not to get. And I wanted to give him them before someone else does lol

I got my husband a little card and a picture frame that had a cute saying about being a father on it. We daved it and put the first picture og the two of them that they took together

Taking care of yourself and doing everything you can to keep your little one as healthy and happy as possible. Sounds Mother's Day worthy to me. In my opinion those are the first steps into parenthood.
