New to TTC

Hey lovelies I'm brand new to TTC so I apologize if I use any of the terms wrong but I have a question. The hubby and I BD'd in my "fertile cycle" according to glow. I am 7dpo and we had sex today and sorry if this is tmi but there was thick creamy white discharge afterwards from me. I read it can signify the begin of a period or the beginning of a pregnancy. So I'm not sure what to think. Have any of you had an experience like this? And if so what was the outcome? Thank you in advance :)
