anyone whose has PID that's gotten pregnant naturally?

I was diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease when I was 22 (almost 7 years ago) and my old school male gyno performed a laparoscopy on me, he told me my tubes were garbage and I'd never get pregnant naturally. (He was an idiot and it hurt to her it but I was young and didn't care about having kids at that point). Well a year after that point I got pregnant with my now husband and miscarried (proved him wrong I guess). Fast forward to now and my husband and I are TTC (it's been four months almost) and nothing so far which I'd say is normal. Just wondering if anyone who had PID before has been able to get pregnant without going the IVF route. I'm starting to lose hope a bit.
