talking to Gynecologist about TTC?

So I have my annual this week and as I'm getting married soon, my fiancé and I are going to start seriously TTC shortly after the wedding. If I talk to my gynecologist about it, what do they do? Do they do tests to see if I'm fertile and everything or do they just hand my pamphlets for tips on what to do? I'm just curious.

If you haven't been trying for a certain amount of time they won't do anything. They won't run any test because there won't be any reason to because you haven't been trying. You might not have any issue that will cause you not to get pregnant.

They offer you advice and they'll test you for immunities for vaccines you can't get during pregnancy. I can't remember which. I talked to my dr at my annual before TTC.

My gyno said they wouldn't do anything until you've been trying for a year. I'm switching gynos (because we've moved) and hoping this new one will be different.

When told my pcp I was going to ttc she sent me to have blood work done. She checked for all sorts of stuff to make sure I was ready.
