Baby won't sleep! Help!

My 5week old has been having trouble sleeping this past week and a half in her crib or in her pack n play we have in our room. She falls asleep in our arms and then we put her down and she squirms and squirms and wakes up. She seems to fall asleep fine in the swing we have for her when we put her in there. I'm thinking maybe it's the slight elevation and not being so flat on her back maybe? Is it okay for her to fall asleep in her swing while we sleep next to her? Or is there any other tricks anyone has to get her to sleep in her pack n play?
