Ring hair test?

Has it NOT worked for anyone? Mine said girl and then boy (back and forth and then in a circle, right?) Anyway, I recently miscarried at 8 weeks and assuming that was my girl. Assuming this is legit (which it has been for many people I know), would my next be a boy and then done? Also do miscarries count?
