Surprised... double ovulation!!!

I have been monitoring my ovulation and, on April 1st, I got my peak. Hubby and I had intercourse those days hoping to get pregnant but didn't happen. However, I am still waiting for my period to show up, and have already 10 days delay. I started having extreme pain on my left ovary and when went to the doctor, he did an ultrasound and found that I have a huge mature follicle, and I am about to ovulate 😲. How can this be possible if I already had my peak 🤔??? Should I have intercourse these coming days just in case 😕?
